Edutourism is a combination of education and tourism that aims to provide students with a holistic learning experience. Participants explore knowledge outside the classroom by visiting educational institutions, industries, and historical areas across Malaysia. Students can participate in educational visits to universities, marine parks, museums, historical landmarks, and industry facilities, allowing them to gain practical insights beyond theoretical learning. The island’s multicultural community, duty-free status, and peaceful environment also create an engaging setting for cross-cultural interaction, student development, and global learning experiences. Through edutourism activities in Labuan, participants are able to strengthen their academic understanding while appreciating the heritage, economy, and natural beauty of the island.
